Welcome to Charmer.AI. We take your privacy seriously—like, really seriously. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data when you use our app.

By using Charmer.AI, you agree to this privacy policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

2. What We Collect

Account stuff: Name, email, age (18+ verification)
Profile data: Communication style, goals, preferences
Conversations: Messages you send to our AI coach
Feedback: Ratings, bug reports, suggestions

2.2 Automatic Collection

Usage data: Features you use, session times
Device info: Device type, OS version, app version
Analytics: Performance data, crash reports

2.3 What We DON'T Collect

            We do NOT collect:
            ❌ Your contacts or phone book
❌ Location data
❌ Photos (except profile pics you choose)
❌ Screenshots of your conversations

Used for authentication, database, and cloud functions. They may collect authentication tokens, device info, and performance data.

Powers our conversation coaching. Your messages are processed by Gemini but NOT used to train their public models.

Manages premium subscriptions. Doesn't have access to your payment details (handled by Apple/Google).

5. Data Security

Where Your Data Lives

Stored on Google Cloud Platform servers with automatic encryption at rest and in transit (SSL/TLS).

How We Protect It

Encryption: All data encrypted during transmission
Access control: Only authorized team members, only when necessary
Firebase Auth: Secure login mechanisms
Regular audits: We constantly review and update security

            Real talk: While we use industry-standard security, no internet transmission is 100% secure. We can't guarantee absolute security, but we're constantly working to protect your data.
        

6. Data Retention

Active accounts: Data kept as long as your account exists
Deleted accounts: Personal data deleted within 30 days
Conversations: Stored until you delete them or your account
Analytics: Anonymized data may be kept indefinitely
Legal requirements: Some data may be kept longer if required by law

7. Your Rights

Access & Export

View all your data in Settings → My Data
Export conversation history (JSON or PDF)
Request full data copy: admin@viga.app

Correction

Edit profile info anytime in Settings
Update preferences and communication style
Correct any inaccurate data

Deletion

Two ways to delete:

In-App: Settings → Account → Delete Account (instant)
Website: charmer.ai/delete-account

We'll delete your account within 24 hours, remove all conversations within 30 days, and send you a confirmation email.

8. Age Requirement

Charmer.AI is for 18+ only. We don't knowingly collect data from users under 18. If we discover underage usage, we delete that data immediately.
